Well done to everyone at the protest at the Dail last Wednesday. It was a great success and a great show of strength.
Since the protest the Government has come under huge pressure to reverse the attacks on DEIS schools. This is welcome news but we must ensure we do everything we can to force a full reversal of these cuts. There have been no solid statements on a change of policy.
With this in mind we have agreed on the following steps. We will contine to try involving other schools in all these events. All these steps are vital in building the campaign.
I.N.T.O Protest to the Department of Education, Marlborough street on Thursday 19/01/12 from 3.30pm. Parents and families welcome.
